Accidents In The Work Place
Mr T benefited successfully from our services:
Mr T was working as a welder on a work site that was cramped and crowded with dim lighting when he stepped down a step on a platform without knowing that another worker that was constructing in the area had placed a footplate on the step that was loose and not yet fixed.
As a result, he stepped onto the loose footplate and slipped and fell causing a serious fracture to his ankle and a tear in his knee ligament. Mr T required several operations over a number of years and was left with a permanent disability with a limp and inability to stand for long periods of time at work.
We acted for Mr T and were able to secure an early admission of liability. We were then able to assist Mr T by accessing private rehabilitation treatment for him and to secure interim payments throughout the life of his case until the full extent of his injuries were known and future disabilities and the long term effects could be identified.
We were then able to negotiate a sizeable sum of compensation to take into account not only his past pain and suffering and financial losses and expenses and loss of earnings, but also for his future expected pain and suffering and financial losses and expenses and loss of earnings; it should be noted that the purpose of compensation is to put you back in the position that you would have been in had you not suffered the injury.
As such, we shall make sure that you recover as much as you are entitled to recover. We will not put you under any pressure to settle your case too early before the full extent of the injury and financial losses are known so that you will not risk settling your case at an undervalue.
