Road Accident
Mr N and his family benefited successfully from our services:
Mr N was walking his dog on Christmas Eve and was walking across the road outside of his house. When he started to cross the road was clear. When he was nearly across the road, a car was driven at speed and failed to stop, slow down, swerve or sound a horn and continued at speed hitting Mr N and the tail of his dog. Mr N hit the car before being thrown to the floor and was knocked unconscious with a serious brain injury, broken shoulder and collar bone, broken eye socket and cheek bone, broken ribs and some permanent loss of vision.
We were able to secure vital early rehabilitation and treatment to assist Mr N which enabled him to return to work, albeit into a different job. Although liability was initially in dispute we were able to support Mr N and his family throughout the process to reach an excellent resolution at a Joint Settlement Meeting with the driver’s insurers and legal representatives.
Immediately following this serious accident that occurred outside of his house, Mr N’s wife, son and daughter all came out of the house and were witnesses to the immediate aftermath of this serious accident. As a result, they each suffered with serious shock symptoms. Following our advice and involvement, we were able to arrange treatment and recover compensation for each of them as well.
